Welcome To Phish Fingerz

Welcome to Phish Fingerz, my name’s Callum Conner, I’m a 27 year old fishing addict based in Central Scotland!  I have worked in the fishing industry for a number of years, I live and breathe the fishing lifestyle. I’m into all types of fishing be it bait, lure or fly, in both fresh and saltwater, I just love catching fish regardless of the method!  However, it is the more modern techniques that really excite me, like LRF (light rock fishing), HRF (heavy rock fishing) or fly fishing and lure fishing for Predators.

As a keen all round angler I like to see myself as having a modern, open minded and enthusiastic approach towards all aspects of fishing, for me it’s all about having fun. I feel fishing is now becoming over complicated, I like to keep things simple, I hope this comes across in my fishing blog.

Over the past couple of years I have developed a passion for angling related photography, which you can expect to see a lot of in my blog. In addition to this will be product reviews, cool fishing apparel, news, fishing reports and some fishy banter. You can check out a selection of my angling images by clicking on the menu above.

I’m a keen fly caster and a very competent teacher of single handed fly casting methods, if you’d like to brush up on your skills by having some fly casting tuition then please click the menu and contact me via e-mail.

Please feel free to leave any comments/feedback, be it complimentary or constructive.

Thank you for reading,

  4. Hello Callum

My name is john wright and I make hand painted wooden signs and wax candles from my home in Coleraine Northern Ireland.
I was wondering if I could use some of your photos on my products under copyright.
If you go to my website you can see the products I am making at the moment.
    Everything is handmade by me.
If you could contact me when you are free.

  5. Can I just say what a comfort to discover an individual who really knows
what they’re talking about over the internet. You certainly know how to bring a
problem to light and make it important. A lot more people
have to look at this and understand this side of your
story. I was surprised you aren’t more popular because you
    most certainly have the gift.
